The Battery Cutter is a brand new equipment which were developed to use battery actuator, for cutting Straps without damaging them.

The concept drawing is attached “Battery Cutter for Plates – PTP R K”.  The tool requires a set of interchangeable dies.  It is possible to have Electrical Design standardize on a fixed number of axial dimensions of the copper core of the shield.  The increments would be in 0.5 to 1.0mm.  The shield wire would still be order bound as the insulation thickness varies by design.

For now there are only two types Battery Cutter:

5×25 cuts in L (90°),

3×25 cuts in L (90°),

3×18 cuts in L (90°),

3×18 cuts in U shape.
